My 68, which has spent its whole life in the desert Southwest, has glossy
pure black seatbelts on its black leather seats. I'm sure these seatbelts
have seen a lot of sun in the last 34 years, and they aren't faded yet. My
carpet shows some fading where it is exposed to the sun, but not the
seatbelts, or any of the other soft trim.
