Jay's 56 Imperial

I have known about Jay Leno's 56 Imperial before he purchased it. The car was a very nice original car with one repaint and only restored as needed. A friend of mine owned the car and traded it with two other cars to a classic car dealer in the Los Angeles area for a Rolls Royce. We had heard sometime later that Jay had purchased the car from this dealer for a quite high price at that time. The car has factory air and almost all options. It was greatly detailed and friends of mine that work at the studio where his show is taped say that they see it in the lot in his space many times. He loves the way it looks and drives. It is white with white and gray all leather interior. He has owned it for at least six or more years. One time at a car show here in Los Angeles I had my 55 coupe at a show and he came up and told me that he owned the 56. I told him the history of his car. He and I had a great time just talking old cars and we shared stories about the Imperials. Nice Guy!!!!
