Mark; A good place to get good quality air tools, used, is a pawn shop believe it or not. In terms of new ones Chicago Pneumatic or Campbell Hausfeld offer some decent affordable air tools, C.P more decent then C.H. Don't bother with the off shore stuff or stuff that doesn't have a name unless you only plan on occasional use. If you want some professional grade stuff Blue Point would be one kind to get but buy them from a pawn shop or yard sale so someone else takes the hit. As for removing paint there is a process called media blasting that is supposed to work well. Basically what they do is use a sandblaster but use plastic pellets instead of sand. One advantage is that they can take paint off of a fibreglass body without grinding the resin away like they would with sand. Of course because of this capability it is less likely to do damage to a metal body as well. This wouldn't be of much use to you since you likely don't have a sandblaster and even if you did your compressor wouldn't have enough umph to drive it Best Regards Arran Foster 1954 Imperial Newport Needing A left Side Taillight bezel and other trim parts.
