Chrysler Imperial

 I took my 60 Imperial & was heading to the line to get to the show field & I see this kid behind me jumping up & down , waiving his arms & yelling something. I stopped & hes trying to waive me to the general parking area. When he gets close enough, I hear him telling me its a Mopar only show, to park over there.I told him that this happens to be the mother of all Mopars & he says OH.

Back in '96, I drove my '77 NYB from Detroit to Las Vegas to attend the first (and last) Chrysler Pacific Nationals. Same situtation happened to me, they told me I couldn't park my Cadillac in the show.

I asked if he could read, and then pointed to one of several Chrysler emblems.

The good thing was, in the confusion, they forgot to even charge me the entry fee. It was just as well since about 30 cars ended up at the show! I was gone in less than an hour.

At least we had fun in the casinos.
