Tony, are you talking about the autotemp servo??? If so, the original owner of my 73 had a kluge that may work. He put two toggle switches under the dash, one turned on the compressor and one the fan. He had disconnected the heater hoses from the autotemp and run them direct with a valve inline with one leg. Apparently when he wanted heat, he opened the hood and opened the valve.... Not very imperialistic but I guess it beats nothing.
