There is no REplacement for DISplacement. Simply put.

Every engine has it's +'s and -'s, but the 440 is an all around great
engine. The 400 might be better is some stroker applications, but if I
wasn't going that route, I'd just get a 440.

Well darn,   I have been  following this thread with interest and
waiting for the 440 owners  to rise up and put this 413 nonsense to rest, .
I guess its not going to happen.  Should I be checking in
to a 413 swap for my 67 ?  ;)
