"I didn't know you wanted a good paint job." Deserves this response: "I didn't know you wanted me to pay you for a lousy paint job." The guy is either a huge idiot, a scam artist, or a big jerk. Don't let him get away with it. Imperials did not leave the factory with runs and orange peel, not in 1962, not ever. Maybe he's talking about runs on the inside of the door panels, behind the door trim panel, where it's not seen. Don't give him any more money, and don't let him get away with this.
