highway hi fi brackets

I have a set of brackets that I got with a NOS hi fi unit .... alas the brackets are not correct for the Imperial or Chrysler dashes. I was told that they possibly could be for a Desoto.  I have a set of patterns that were supposedly made from an original set that would work on the Imperial and New Yorker.  Presently I am in the process of trying to verify the fit and then plan to have some made.  Would like to find an orginal set to borrow or buy for verifying the dimensions.  Anyone out there that can help or has a lead?  I would even appreciate a contact that I could ask questions even if that person did not wish to loan out the brackets or sell them.  I have the feeling there are quite a few people that need these bracket sets.
