I believe, before we got slightly off track here, was if in fact some of these rust treatments are just plain Coal Tar. I don't think they are. In fact,if you use POR-15 from a plastic bucket, the remainder will dry to a plastic-like consistency....almost like a thick,black,trashbag....then peel right out leaving the shape of the bucket. So,for those of you who are contemplating on using a rust treatment such as POR-15 on your Imperial or NYB,rest assured it is fairly safe. Just don't get it on your skin. The only thing that takes it off is t-i-m-e. (usually 2 weeks) Steve from Albany,N.Y. '75 Imp 4dr <--POR-15 coats the inside-bottom of the doors where moisture gets. '79 440 powered 35 ft RV <--about 75% of it's already solid frame has been wirebrushed and painted with POR. ___________________________________ ----Original Message Follows---- From: RONVE@xxxxxxx Reply-To: mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To: mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: IML: Re.
