I doubt they would have any information about converted cars in the owner's
manual, but since I don't own a 1983, I can't be certain. It just seems
they would be a little embarrassed about the conversions when those manual
were printed (in 1982, probably). The conversion program really didn't get
rolling big time until late 83, I believe.
There were always carbureted cars available in Canada. The ones exported to
USA were all EFI, I believe. I don't know about cars exported elsewhere -
but I'll be someone on here does!
