> I still need a a gas tank (and sending unit) for my '67 > Convertible. Any help would be appreciated. Hey gang, If you need a gas tank and sending unit (or other parts), the OIC site that lists all of the parts vendors is the place to be doing your parts sourcing and shopping: http://www.imperialclub.com/TipsAndResources/index.htm Lowell Howe has stacks of tanks cleaned, relined, and prepped, ready to go. I saw them myself. He's listed on the website, as are other reputable vendors that have most parts in stacks or in vehicles just waiting for you to call. Many vendors do not read posts to The List. Pricing and parts' condition are the questions left to ask if you call around. There are also sources for redoing the parts that can be redone. When you post a message to the list, consider that the vast majority of the 500+ people on the list reading it do not sell parts, but are in the same boat of needing them. All of the vendors that I know give satisfaction assurances, where other list members may not. You have recourse within the club via the vendor feedback area if things go sour and just can't be worked out. There is a used parts area of the classifieds where individual people can advertise their parts needed or for sale. If it's a weird or hard to find part, or you just don't know, perhaps the question to ask is: Where do I find this part, or parts for my 19XX car, instead of making a general broadcast that is non-specific. There is probably someone else who will benefit from the answer and use the info later, thus reducing future messages on the same subject. Thanks in advance for considering these options before you send an all-points bulletin out to The List. ===== Kenyon Wills 6o LeBaron - America's Most Carefully Built Car 73 LeBaron - Long Low & Luxurious __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
