Imperial keeping it original.

I have a 56 Imperial. It is a 4 door desert rose and white. It has the
original color, never painted and the original interior.

I recently had to have the seats done. What I mean, is that I had tears in
the black fabric on the front seat outer edge. Also the seats foam was
gone, dryed out. I was able to get the original black material. I then
found the original coral Imperial cloth, even though the existing was very
good I opted to have the seats Imperial cloth replaced. There is still
black original cloth on the seats.

Now for the purists, my question, is it now considered a complete original
interior?

My next task is to paint parts of the engine, valve covers, generator, air
cleaner etc..

I would like to take the car to car shows can I state that it is an
original since I had the seats done, and have painted the engine?
