Hey Danny,
Here's more info on that 64/300....All 64 300 series (non-letter) had push-button tranny controls where as the Spring Special had the "K" console-mounted shifter which also included a vacuum gauge. The Code 329 Silver 300 Package was made available as a Spring Special. At $71.80, it proved popular on 300 Series coupes, with 2,152 so equipped. The package included Silver Mist paint, black vinyl canopy roof cover and molding package, and a black, bucket seat interior. The base engine was the 383 V-8, but the 300K 360hp 413 was an extra-cost option. Transmission options included three-and four speed manuals and the KING three speed TorqueFlite automatics.
Hopefully this rare Chrysler will fall into caring hands...Bill Binner
Thanks for the info, Bill.
I have a bid in on it but it hasn't gotten to the reserve on it as yet. I do not need another car right now, but if this one came to me, I would like to have it.
Should I get it, I may be getting back to you for more info.
Thanks again.
Danny
