58 electrical stuff

Hugh, my neighbor took mine of the 58, and I replaced the solenoid, and he reinstalled it in the space of 3 hour or less. Neither one of us knows anything about mechanical things, so you know it's an easy one.   Denis, Redwood City, Ca.

>Has anyone got any experience removing and reinstalling the starter motor on

>daily driver right now, I'd really like to be able to get this done in one
>day.  I suspect the starter is weak, but the solenoid is worse, and is all
>but gone, now.  It is on top of the starter but I don't think it is

>The coolant lines from the transmission wend their way very close to it but
>I hope that is not a big deal.  I would appreciate any advice.
