Imperials & Air Streams

John and Others

When we first got back into the older car scene the first thing that came to
our mind was that a person who was of means would have purchased the best
that money could buy. And since I at one time flew around the country side
doing Army Air Forces WWII Aviation Living History, my mind went to the Air
Stream for the eye catcher appeal.

The cars: Since I've been planning on this move the cars all have been
prep'd. Transmission coolers are MoPar and I even have coolers for the power
steering ( I noticed that when we were in Sante Fe that Lance Bell has a OEM
power steering cooler on his Dad's 65 Crown). I pulled the 66 from Fremont
( S. San Francisco Bay area), Calif to Colo Spgs already. So which is
lighter....a 66 Le Baron or a Air Stream trailer.

I've been watching ebay and the Air Stream Club classifieds. Ebay seller's
seem to be on a get rich plan. I want a trailer for the same bargin that we
have found the cars. On the road north of Taos, N. Mex I spotted a '73 27
footer. The owner is layed off and they may be willing to sell.

                                                   Rodger & Gabby
