Hi Curtis,(and List), There is a product called Por-15 that is made for problems that you describe. Here is a link: http://www.por15.com The stuff is like paint at first...but once it dries,it is there for good. The best way I can describe it is like a plastic-epoxy-superglue when dry. It comes in Gloss Black and Semi-Gloss Black. I use the Semi because paint or primer sticks to it better. Allegedly it is avail in White...but I have never seen White POR-15. Use gloves. If you get it on your skin,as the label on the top of the can implies: "Only TIME will remove it from your skin." Call around to your local Auto-Body supply store for availability. Steve from Albany,N.Y. <--used POR and got it on me again today. Ugh. In 2 weeks it should be gone. :o( '75 Imp 4dr <--no time to drive it. '79 440 powered 35 ft RV <--removed the front,roof-mounted A/C unit by myself yesterday. Damn thing was heavy! ____________________________________________ ----Original Message Follows---- From: "Curtis McGuire" <cmcguire@xxxxxxxxxx> Subject: IML: rust spots Date: Tue, 23 Apr 2002 10:43:28 -0700 hi, everyone from san diego, my name is Curtis McGuire and I got my 63 imperial couple of years ago and she has a problem? my 63 imperial has small rust spots all over the car you can't see them unless your within 6 inches of the car. any one have suggestion on removing or at least keeping them from growing. the car is white and the chrome is in great shape but same problem in areas. please help. _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx
