Hello All, Just as a 'piggy-back' question to this one from Dave Knight, maybe someone can also answer a 'TNT' question for me....... .....My 1966 Crown Conv. (purchased about 12 years ago-she was originally from Florida) has a motor with metallic (?) lime-green valve covers and a air cleaner with the 'Hi-Performance TNT' sticker on it. I assumed that someone just painted the valve covers and put on a snorkel that they found somewhere......did the '66 Imperials even come with a TNT option at all??? and is there a way for me to tell if the motor itself was changed from the original for a later year TNT model?....or if in fact I just have a snorkel from a TNT and a strange colored set of valve covers??? I didn't think the TNT options were available till several years after my '66 was born, but the engine itself may infact have been changed (or some one put whatever kind of snorkel on the original motor after repainted the valve covers. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks All!!!
