Sole Car/Daily Driver Problems

I know I'm jumping in late on this thread but, I just wanted to say that if
you have two 59 Imperials up and running, you can make out alright with
your day to day needs. I use my 64 Crown 4 door, 65 New Yorker 6 window
and a 67 Sedan De Ville as daily drivers and have not been caught without
transportation. It is sensible to have a spare and having two is better
for variety and to keep mileage down to a minimum on each car. My cars
appreciate being driven at least once a week on my 18 minute, 70 mph
commute to work and run much better for it. If I'm ever lucky enough to
get a fin car or a 62, I will fold it right into the rotation. I will not
say that maintenance issues don't come up but hey, no car note. I have
taken each of the cars on extended trips for hundreds of miles but
recommend renting for anything over 200 miles unless it is to a meet or
show. Life is trial and error. If you want a 59 daily driver, go for it!
I would love to see it going down the road. Just my $.02.
