'72 engine oil sending units

All Imperials, at least back to 1967, have both a light AND a gauge, strange
as it might seem to you.  As is typical for Imperial, they wanted to do
thing right!  The light is the "gauge sentry", which lights to warn you to
"check gauges" when any of the dial type gauges are out of their normal
range.  In the case of the oil pressure senders, there are two of them on
each car, just as the original answer stated.
