sinkhole for money

Hiya Mike, Sorry you got taken on your brakes, are you in a small town or
just a town with only one good mechanic? It is the case these days that with
the overwelming proliferation of "Automotive Technitians" that if they can't
hook a computer to the car, to tell them what is wrong, they haven't a clue
as to how it works. I have had this problem when I have to have an
alighnment. I have to show them how to do it! I had such a bad experience at
one store that I called the district manager, told him the tech did not do
the job I asked him to do (even showed him were to put the wrench!) and the
alignment was worse than when I 'eyeballed it' . His reply? "We get these
kids right out of High School and the don't know what they are doing" My
reply was how can you trust a person like that with your customers safety?
Silence....then He said he would check into it. I called him back (after he
did not return my messages, I used a different name) He said that the
technitian had worked for them for 10+ years..No Refund No nothing. Beleive
you me Mike I do feel your pain and wish you better luck at the body shop!
