Please WELCOME New Member, Mark Ollerton (1964, 1978 Salon, 1981)

Mark;
 Welcome to the Imperial Mailing list. Sorry to disappoint you but I am a
MoPar nut that doesn't live in Vancouver or Victoria, I live in Courtenay. I
seem to remember a New Yorker Brougham that was for sale around here a
number of months ago, a 78' I believe, but I wasn't that interested in it.
There is also a older fellow driving a yellow one around here, he dresses
like he's a Texan so he's easy to spot when he drives by.
 The car that I have is a 1954 Imperial Newport currently undergoing an
engine rebuild as the previous owner chose to let the motor sit for five
years without turning it over. I also suspect that he left the hood open
with the air cleaner off as there was evidence of water running into the
intake manifold. The body is good but it needs some trim on the driver's
side. The glass is good and the upholstery is there but rotten. Let me know
if you ever come up to Courtenay.
Best Regards
Arran Foster
