Gas cap interchange

Dick B's mention of small production numbers equaling
low or non-existent aftermarket gas caps for Imp Limos
might also lead you to splice a filler neck from
another vehicle onto your car's filler neck, yeilding
a different thread pattern and thus accepting a period
cap that is from something else (and that comes with
the replacement filler tube).

This assumes that your concours judges won't notice
the standard Imperial (or chrysler) cap and filler
tube head.
