My 67 Crown Coupe brake pedal goes very low, too, but the brakes seem to work just fine. I've actually put a restrictor in the booster vacuum tube to give the brakes a little more "feel". Perhaps, like the power steering, they were meant to be numb and light. In my 69 Newport with power drum brakes, on the other hand, the slightest touch of the brake pedal begins slowing that 4000 pound behemoth in more of a hurry than I ever thought 4 wheel drum brakes ever had a right to! --Mike --- MIKE CINDY BECKER <mikeandcindyb@xxxxxxx> wrote: > Hi Nick, > > After thinking about it while I drive, mine seems to > be low too, might be the way it's designed. > ----- Original Message ----- > From: > nicholasadamo@xxxxxxx<mailto:nicholasadamo@xxxxxxx> > To: > mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > > Sent: Sunday, December 31, 2006 3:34 PM > Subject: Re: IML: 67 LeBaron brakes > > > Hi Mike, > > I have an important question for you.
