Richard:Thanks for sending that pic of a Custom front seat. I need photos like that anyway to be able to rebuild the one I have - the newer bad upholstery and disintigrating original foam make for a misshapen seat currently.
I am equally surprised to find there was no front arm rest on the Custom (I knew there was a reason LeBarons are my favorites). Somewhere else I was reading that 92.9% of 1960 Imperials had power windows. I've never seen a 1960's era Imperial with crank windows, were are the other 7.1% without power windows?

Does anyone know if the arm rest in the front bench seat was an option or ifit was standard? Particularly on the Custom. I've been searching through member's car pictures but there are few frontviews of the front seats unless it's a convertible and they tend to have theswivel seats. The front seat in mine was reupholstered in an amateurish way and I'm wondering if they just covered up the arm rest or if it was an option not installed, then it wouldn't even exist.
