HI John....thanks! the more I think about it I kinda remember that the rook trim on my old '66 with the vinyl top did, as you mention, have a different shaped trim piece. It probably would also be a real bear !! to get the rear window trim and get the window set just right....I think I have talked myself out of trying it anyway! I'd hate to mess the car up as it does look pretty good right now.....with a GOOD pait job it will look GREAT!! (project #1,324 on my list!!) Thanks again! Fortunately, my insurance is covering it. On the 66 vinyl top, I think the roof trim is different from the non vinyl. I know 64 is for sure & am guessing that 64-66 shared the same trim. The trim piece above the side glass is shaped different to hide the metal strip that screws into the roof to hold the vinyl. I think the hardest part of installing is getting the seams straight. I had a 64 Crown Coupe & watched them put the top on & they seemed to be struggling with it. ----- Original Message ----- From: <dansgarage@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Cc: "john sadowski" <jsadowski@xxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, October 29, 2006 8:06 PM Subject: Re: IML: 69 Windshield Replacement > Hi John!
