Silvercrest 4 doors made?
I have a Silvercrest Landau, which if using the seller's statement as
"fact", must mean that I may have one of the only ten or so in
existence. That can't possibly be true, much as I might like it to be
so. The Silvercrest option (and the Landau and Silvercrest Landau
options) were probably not common, but conversely about as rare as a
"Biarritz" option on an early '80s Eldorado (which also had a stainless steel
roof). They're rare, but not THAT rare.

I don't know for sure if only 200 were
produced, but would seriously question weather only 20 still survive.
I've probably seen that many & couldn't possibly have seen them
all.
I do know there were
NONE produced with an alternator. Wonder weather the generator was just
swapped out or the engine?

Is it true that only 200 1959 Silvercrest 4 doors were made and fewer
than 20 survive?
