| Jim: I had a similar problem with a 1954.  It was a
loose connection inside the turn signal switch.  Sometimes the brake
lights would work fine, sometimes only one would work and sometimes
none.  I found if I held the turn signal lever in a certain position
when stopping, they would both work.  We took the horn ring assembly off
and repaired what had come loose which ended the problem.  You might
see if leaving the turn signal lever slightly up or down makes a
difference, or if moving it around a little changes things.  This would
indicate that is where the problem is.  I hope this helps. Robert |
