I'm short on memory for where bodies are buried, but
that drawing appears in one of the 300 or so magazine
articles that we have. I fished for about 10 minutes
without finding it.
It would be in one of the later, retrospective
articles from one of the "better" historical
publications, and not in a contemporary rag like
Popular Science or Car Life or whatever.
I think that it was the same article that showed the
abortive 196o design concepts and other mis-fires that
never made it.
Anyway, my memory says that this was an attempt at a
replacement for the 1968 car - the year that saw the
Fuselage styling debut instead.
The drawing has a '68 El Dorado in it when I look at
it, which may explain why they didn't follow through
with that idea.
