After a little more
research, I see that I was looking at the DeSoto Airflow specs. Sorry,
all.

This is strange, Dave ? my book
shows that only the 323 Cu In was used in Imperials, and that there
was no 276 Cu In engine in that year, only the 241 (6 cylinder), or the 273
(8 cylinder) in lesser non-airflow Chryslers; neither was used in
Imperials.
160 would have been VERY high HP
rating for that size engine ? even the Packard 385 Cu In was only
rated at 150 HP.
