Re: IML: curb weight of '68 Crown four door hardtop

Communism sucks. I also live in Washington. We voted against a gas tax and they raised it. We voted against increasing property taxes and a Judge said that the people did not know what they we voting for and threw it out. We voted for a Republican Govenor and on the third recount including felons and illegal aliens, a Democrat won.....

However, back to Imperials. My 69 LeBaron car has an antique plate and after the initial fee (about $70), I never have to pay another penny -ever or at least uintil they change that. Will this work for you.

The ever-greater-taxing authorities of the Peeples Republik of Washington have tossed us another fee, this time on weight of our vehicles, in addition to all the other fees and charges. The notice I received requires that I provide them with the weight of my 1968 Crown. They say they do not have this info on file in their title dept - something I have a bit of a problem believing, as it's on every other title I've ever had issued in Washington!

My owners manual does not reveal this number. Short of taking Lucille up to the rock quarry and running her across the certified scale - can anyone tell me what my darling behemoth weighs?
