The March issue of the WPC News of the Chrysler
Products Restorers Club has an article about this business located in Commerce
City, Co., 303-288-2682.
They are being forced out by local city
council.
According to article they have about 75 1950 thru
1970 Imperials, many are convertibles. Among these are:
1968 Mobile Director two-door hdpt. "one of
approx 10 built that year"
1960 white Imperial LeBaron 4-door hdtp.
"built for the founder of Samonsite Luggage."
1974 Imperial LeBaron, "two-hdtp with
sunroof, black vinyl roof, and black leather interior is the only factory built
red
LeBaron produced that year. It was a special order from Denver"
Also according to article:
1980 Chrysler Cordoba T-top, "one of 200
produced"
1970 Chrysler Newport Cordoba "actually the
first Chrysler Cordoba made. It is an Aztec gold hdtp. with special
Indian
paint interior and
vinyl roof covering, color keyed wheels, and other special
amenities"
Article states to check E-bay "for current
inventory of Maddox Vintage Automobiles for sale."
I have not verified this or any of the above but
thought it might be of interest to list member.
