Re: IML: The color of the exhaust manifold 1959

Every one I ever saw was "natural" or if you prefer, neutral. If they were painted anything, it probably burned off during the first 100 miles. One of the original exhaust manifolds on my '55 Imperial had some remnants of silver paint on it when I replaced it due to a rotten choke heater tube. I suspect that it was painted during a rebuild in the middle 1960's.

Subject: IML: The color of the exhaust manifold 1959

Hello all,
My question is, what is the correct color of the exhaust manifold for a 413 in a 1959 Imperial? Thanks in advance.
Marty
