Hi, no the door lock button is not screwed down too tight. But I did try 
spraying some WD-40 on the parts I can get to without removing the panel and 
now it takes about 4 or 5 tries instead of 3 to get the door to open. So 
maybe I am getting somewhere, I will let it soak in and reapply some more 
oil and see where I am at. That door probably didn't get used much based on 
the mint condition of the back seats. Maybe it is messing up from sitting in 
the same position for many years, and has probably never been oiled. Thanks,
