I have just removed the roof trim on my '61 LeBaron. I think it is almost
exacly the same as a '60. All the trim is attached with speed nuts or regular
nuts which have to be accessed from inside the roof. Do not attempt to pry any
trim off thinking it may be attached by clips.you will only damage it.
Unfortunately this means that the headlining must be removed. or at least
unglued around the edges and gently pulled towards the centre of the roof. If
your lining is a brittle as mine was, you are probably looking at a
replacement.
If you still plan to go ahead, start with the side windshield mouldings and
look out for the hidden screw at the bottom of each side. It is concealed
behind the rubber seal.
