IML: 1928 Theft Protection System - now Available to all Imperial owners

I'm scanning the 1928 FSM for the website right now.

On page 8, denoting it's relative importance, is a
full-page spread dedicated to the theft protection
system that includes the Fedco Numbering System:

The next page goes on to assert the following special
procedures regarding the other anti-theft devices. I
thought it most curious that the manual would be laid
out like this, but here it is:

LOCK YOUR CAR
Car has locks on all 4 doors and ignition - use them!

LOCK YOUR CAR
Theft insurance on an automobile does not prevent
theft...

LOCK YOUR CAR
Cars are usually stolen while being used for business
or pleasure - loss of your car can have serious
reprecussions to your business or pleasure.

LOCK YOUR CAR
Locks are provided as a theft deterrent, and perhaps
will not foil a professional theif, but the petty
theif at least, will be stopped.....

LOCK YOUR CAR
The Ignition Switch is operated by a key so that when
the ignition is shut off for stopping the engine, it
is a simple matter to remove the key to prevent casual
theft....

LOCK YOUR CAR
Keys are serially numbered and the numbers should be
jotted down in case of loss so that new keys can be
obtained. Only two keys may be ordered and shipment
will only be made to Chrysler dealers. These rules
are required by the Board of Insurance
Underwriters......

LOCK YOUR CAR
Imperial Chrysler cars are provided with practical
theft protection. This protection should be used.
