If you are very careful, you should be able to combine all of the best parts to make pretty, and usable push buttons. If not, hang in there, I am sure a good set will turn up. I haven't ever taken the chrome off the push buttons, but if it was assembled once, it should be able to be disassembled and reassembled now. I would recommend trying to put the nice chrome on the good plastic. But don't force anything.

Another question.......My R and N push buttons keep falling out! The notches are worn at the back in the plastic. Now I have plenty of good usable spares but all have nasty worn chrome and bad fronts. Any way to repair my pretty ones?
