Re: IML: "Triple black"

Son of a Gun.... I hadn't even heard the term "Triple Black " until I read it here on our very own IML.
I thought it meant a ......well...really black paint as in a description you would read in an Imperial brochure.
Thanks for the correction .

Just a friendly FYI, if a car has a different color interior than its exterior, it can¹t be ³triple black.²

The three elements of a triple color are paint, roof (vinyl on a hardtop,
cloth on a convertible, etc.), and interior.

All three would have to be black for a car to be triple black.

I have a friend with a slicktop '67 LeBaron in black with a blue interior.
Pretty combo, very elegant, especially with no vinyl roof!

On another note I thought this 67 had a curious color combination of triple
black with a blue interior.
