I understand your doubtfullness, but, since he was talking about Le Barons
as opposed to Crowns, as to the low production numbers of the Le Baron that
year, I would have to agree with the writer of the article unless it can
proven to me otherwise thats its incorrect. I guess if anyone was in doubt,
they would need to contact Jeffery Godshall to verify the information. I
believe him to be correct. If one would want proof of this, then contact the
author of the article. He had other numbers in there like only 179 of the
3235 Crown Coupes had the Mobile Director Option. Where would he get these
numbers unless he had some information stating so somewhere. Anyways, The
article was printed in Oct 2002 in the magazine and it was very pro
Imperials of those years. So, I'm sure the writer researched the facts to
print.
