I agree 100%. In reality however, the majority in our society don't have a reasonable level of common sense. It is that group who make laws like seatbelt laws a necessity. Some people need protection from themselves. There is no difference between this and "Friends don't let friends drink and drive.". We must protect those around us who are prone to poor judgment.
