I don't think $1,400 is out of line as an ASKING price for this car.  Sure 
that paint around the grille is suspect, but you have to figure the price 
will automatically drop to $1,000 or so.  I'd bet that an offer of $700 
would get it, which is certainly in the ballpark if it runs well.  Most 
people don't price running cars under a grand because the purchasers will 
automatically think they are junk.

I'd be interested in this car if I didn't already have an '82 and '83 (both 
with red leather, like this one) to keep running. I could use some parts, if 
anybody sees any 80's Imperials in Northeastern U-PUll yards, by all means 
let me know.
