Hello Glenn     there is a motor behind the grill looks like a power window motor, it has a shaft that runs thru it you should not be able to turn it with your hand. if you can the motor/gear box is worn out you can buy a new one from Chrysler part # 4467311 its about 120.00 bucks or you can go junk-yard diving. there is also a spring loaded hub on the shaft were it mates to the head light door it the is broken or worn can make doors not open. on the IMP club page in the 1990 section is a parts break down that shows it well. any thats how i fix mine, it was not hard at all.

My headlight convers are not going all the way open anymore.  Does anyone know what I should do.  I fi get out and pull them the rest of the way they will close like normal when i shut off the lights.  This is irritating lol please help me
