IML: '66 gas tank leak

My gas tank seems to have developed a drip-drip leak. Looks to be  
coming from the center of the bottom side, right at what appears to  
be some type of circular plug? Is that a fitting or a weld gone bad?  
Can it be repaired or do I have to find a new tank?
