Got to go along with that. I would THINK if they overhauled the tranny, a new converter (and ring gear) would have been also installed. All you need to have happen is some foreign matter lodged in the old converter find its way into your "new" tranny :o| Unless I have missed a message, we still don't know what was meant by "wouldn't start".
