That's just my point.  Get the measurements and you will then know what
hitch will fit.  Yer preaching to the choir on this one!

I am not expecting to find a big hitch manufacturer willing to produce a
hitch for a 40 year old vehicle. They are in the business of making money
and I doubt that the volume of sales on this old of a vehicle would make
them any money.

What I am hoping to find is perhaps a NOS or a hitch salvaged from another
vehicle.
