I've read a couple interesting articles on the Lucas products, that seem to indicate they're not very high quality at all. I don't know anything about the gasoline additive, but the oil additive seem to cause horrible foaming, and we (should) all know what air bubbles in oil will not let the oil do.... For that reason, I'm more than a bit hesitant to buy anything of theirs, ever. I don't see it affecting my car super badly, but my theory is that the engine was designed and tested with regular old dinosaur oil, and if 130,000 miles have been put on it with just that, who am I to wreck the balance ;). If the product works for you, and makes your car run better, great! Here's the article I read initially about the lucas additives: http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/images/lucas/lucas.htm This was my convincing, make your own judgement as you see fit. -Jason '90 Imperial On Mon, 28 Mar 2005 11:36:31 -0700, CHRISTINE & CHRISTOPHER <cchmaness@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > Hello all, > > As much as we have seen posts about fuel use in our Imperials I have > never seen my solution so here goes. > I always put the lowest cost gas into my Imperial, I know this is a sin > for several of my fellow Imperialists but give me a chance to explain.
