RE: IML: dana factory rear end??



Dana 60 (made by Spicer) rear axle, has a 9 1/4" ring & pinion gear set.  Pretty much bullet proof for street car applications, sought after and used in high horsepower drag cars.
 
Chrysler 727 Torqueflight transmission,  "727" being the model number.  Another tough hombre.

The ad of my 74 Imperial said it has a dana factory rear end and a 727 automatic transmission

What do they mean by a dana factory rear end and a 727 automatic transmission??
