In 65 the AM radio had a floor switch. The AM/FM did not have a floor
switch-this feature was not available on the AM/FM. Had them both!!

Radio
Eric,
Are you sure the '65's did not have the floor
switch? The radio in my '65 has the floor mounted search tune and it
was working fine when my car went off to the restoration shop. Of
course, the radio in my car may not be original but certainly did appear
to have not ever been changed when I took the dash pad off.
