My search for a master cylinder for my '71 recently led me to Atlas Auto Parts & Salvage of North Hollywood, Calif. They had the part, were friendly and knowledgeable, charged a fair price and didn't gouge me on the shipping to Hawaii. They sent it off immediately and I got it 2 days later. The guys there are Tom and Dennis and the number is (818) 765-6666 and Dennis, at least, seemed happy to be hearing from someone with an Imperial.
I mention this because there is another "Atlas" outfit in L.A. -- Atlas Obsolete Motor Parts in Los Alamitos -- that's received some lousy reviews on our site. It was only after I figured out the difference that I gave the North Hollywood guys a try and I'm glad I did.
Anyway, it would be easy to assume these guys are the same since they're both in the L.A. area but they're not.
