Hello John,
This is bruce, owner of a 1965 lebaron also,
It does sound like a motor mount problem, I am be no means an expert on cars,
but it seems to me, if was ok before you replaced eveything, I would venture to
guess it is in the motor mounts check those first, before you go into a big
hassel with other causes.
