I stand corrected...
Thank you for providing the link to the actual information. I am glad it is not a hoax and I can see there is a possibility that some Comcast customers could potentially be offline for a few hours during their upgrade.
If you read the full notice it just says if your turn off your modem etc. during those hours, you may not be able to get back online until the upgrade is complete by 12:00 noon.


Anyway I still think we have burned up enough IML bandwidth about a minor upgrade outage for a few hours which could possibly effect a small number of IML members which is not Imperial related, so lets please move along now.

Folks,
I think this sounds like a hoax and I looked around on Comcast's web
site and found nothing. I think if it was such an emergency, it would
be prominently mentioned on their web site.
